The Summer on the Costa Blanca North

The Summer on the Costa Blanca North

The summer has arrived in the Costa Blanca North of Spain, it is 38 degrees, and the air-conditioning is working in the offices, shops, cars, homes, entertaining areas, bars, restaurants, etc. The area has a flock of tourists seeking the sun, sea, entertainment, peace, tranquility, and even partying.

At Compare Properties Spain we welcome all tourists with our arms open, as they provide the feeling of summer to our hearts and souls. We can at times complain about the slow driving during the busy work times, the taking of photographs at the side of busy roads, we can even forgive the attempt to drive around the round-about the wrong way, the deciding to have dinner at 6.00 pm followed by another nationality who wants the same dinner at 11.00 pm, etc. We do all of this with a smile and a chuckle to ourselves as this reflects the vast cultural differences on our coastline. The local traditions and Fiestas have started in the different villages providing the usual complaints from animal lovers, the tradition of the tourist who attempts to outrun the bull after too many gin and tonics and ends up in the emergency rooms, but more importantly, it is a sense of pride watching the Spanish live their cultural heritage in many different ways during their local fiestas.

The usual last-minute cancellation on holiday rental booking appears on the scene, along with the last-minute desire to find a suitable holiday home to rent. For this, the vast amount of rental companies on the web can assist you all in your search.

If however, you decide that you want your own holiday home to have as a retreat then look no further than Compare Properties Spain. Viewing properties during the "silly season" (as the locals call this time of year) is almost impossible, however, getting to know a reputable, qualified API Real Estate Agency in Spain is a must, and what better time to do so than when the viewings have slowed down. Most genuine properties are rented out, or used by family members so being able to access these homes is virtually impossible during July and August. We always try our best, but it is not a favorable time of year to view.

Please take the opportunity to contact us and let us know your wish list for your new home. We will be happy to meet up for a chat and a coffee at any of the local bars surrounding your holiday home in preparation for September onwards.

Thank you for reading our summer easy news.
